For teachers and tutors...

create and share

The ActiVise Sequencing Creator is available for teachers and tutors. It can be used to create individual topic files that can be exported. The exported topic file can be held on a VLE, USB or emailed as an attachment.  The exported topic files can be uploaded into the ActiVise Sequencing Software.

Each topic file can contain up to 15 steps in text or pictures. There is no limit to the number of topic files that can be created. Topic files are shared with the teacher or tutor's learners for free and can then be uploaded into the learners' ActiVise Sequencing Software to create interactive homework or revision.

Teachers:

Teachers use the ActiVise Sequencing Creator to create individual topic files containing up to 15 steps in sequences in text or pictures.

The teacher exports the topic files from the ActiVise Sequencing Creator to share with their pupils for free via email or on a USB stick or shared drive.

Pupils:

When the pupil receives the file, they upload it into their ActiVise Sequencing Software.

The pupil can then change the background colour and font preferences as well as select the steps from the topic that will appear in the games.

The pupil repeatedly uses the teacher’s topic in the 6 activities to learn or revise the steps in the sequence.

It could be used...

The ActiVise Sequencing Creator is likely to be used by a teacher, tutor or support worker who want to create topic files for their leaners or create topic files as a teaching activity with their learners.

Topic files can be saved on a computer's C drive, downloaded onto a USB stick or sent as email attachments.

It might be appropriate to create groups of topic files for specific learners.  The benefit of the ActiVise Sequencing Creator topic files is to allow learners to continue to learn or revise topics at home or school between direct teaching.  It could allow learners to keep content fresh for their next teaching session or help learners to be introduced to new content before teaching in order to get the most benefit from the teaching session.
